Thunder Dragons - Group 3

Pre-Spring Break we sat and listened to Group Two give quite an interesting presentation on Breaking Bad and the philosophical aspects of it. Personally, I've never seen an episode of the TV series but I thought the presentation was quite informational.

This early evening, my group will be presenting. Most of us did research and provided questions for a couple people out of the group who will be giving the actual presentation today, to which I look forward to. Jake Bruce should be posting a summary before class.

I hope everyone had a great spring break.

  1. For the readings that are required for today's class...

FQ: Whose method is, "don't accept anything as true if there is the slightest possibility that it isn't"? (Descartes)
DQ: What's to say that life is but a dream?

  2. I posted the summary on here earlier and will be bringing a copy for everyone who shows up to sign. Edward and I will be presenting the project today. Thanks everyone for your submissions to the project, Everyone did their fair share and what was assigned to them.

FQ: Who believed that we as humans are somewhere between beasts and angels but probably closer to beasts? (Pascal)
DQ: What do you think about Pascal's philosophy "If you win you win everything; if you lose you lose nothing"?
