Nameless Wanderers, Honors 3 Group 3

Here be our post for participation until next class. I suppose there isn't much to put here except that observing various philosophies reduced to absurdity was, if nothing else, amusing. At any rate, here we are with a post.

  1. I thought the philosophers came off very well indeed, and not absurd... though Seneca's world-weariness was a downer.

    I can't seem to find my groups post, so I thought this might do for now!

    Factual question: Which philosopher believed in repentance but only after you have had enough of that action? A: St. Augustine

    Discussion question: Which philosophy do you feel would be the most absurd when blown out of proportion?

    Comment: I have never seen Monty Python or Harry Potter ( I know, I'm basically not human ) so I am really excited to see the other 2 groups presentations on how they relate to philosophy!

    Discussion Question: Whose philosophical view did you most relate to of the philosophers on the panel? (Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Epicurus, Seneca, or Pyrrho)

    Comment: The panel was very funny and interesting.

    Comment: I had a lot of fun being on the panel even though my answers to every question were pretty similar...but hey, that's Pyrrho for you.
