Schopenhauer 14-2

Sorry about how late the post is I was not able to check my email-and didn't know to post so I will just post a small section and you guys can comment your thoughts on the reading.

Schopenhauer, unlike most people of the era, believed in the eastern philosophy and had some of the same beliefs as Buddha. He believed that people were greedy and never satisfied and that if we recognize the true nature of reality then we can avoid the bad parts of our human condition. I like this because instead of condemning human nature he offers a solution to bettering ourselves.
