So since I wasn't here last class, I do not know what was discussed. I can only hope and assume it was about the "school of athens". Put a little insight in here for me about it.
FC: What is the "school of athens" and who created it?
DC: Why did they want to create it?
The school of Athens is one of the most famous frescoes by the Italian Renaissance Raphael.
ReplyDeleteI really did not find this topic interesting at all. So I can not really comment on it. Sorry.
FQ: How old was Raphael when he created the painting? - 27 years old.
DQ:
The School of Athens was a painting (fresco) that Raphael Sanzio painted for the current pope. I thought the painting was actually quite interesting. He put a bunch of popular philosophers from different time periods together as if they were all in one room. It's almost like the school full of philosophical all-stars!
ReplyDeleteFQ & DQ: what's next? or am I missing it? :)
