Section 8, Group 4

So since I wasn't here last class, I do not know what was discussed. I can only hope and assume it was about the "school of athens". Put a little insight in here for me about it.

FC: What is the "school of athens" and who created it?
DC: Why did they want to create it?

  1. The school of Athens is one of the most famous frescoes by the Italian Renaissance Raphael.
I really did not find this topic interesting at all. So I can not really comment on it. Sorry.

FQ: How old was Raphael when he created the painting? - 27 years old.

  2. The School of Athens was a painting (fresco) that Raphael Sanzio painted for the current pope. I thought the painting was actually quite interesting. He put a bunch of popular philosophers from different time periods together as if they were all in one room. It's almost like the school full of philosophical all-stars!

FQ & DQ: what's next? or am I missing it? :)
