Section 11 Group 1: Jesus and Doubt

Reading about Jesus's internal conflicts when he faces the duty he must act to sacrifice himself, one truly relates to his human nature. It made us realize that Jesus was not just the Son of God, or a part of God, but he was a man. And he had human worries like any of us would facing such a gigantic responsibility. Jesus was questioning the faith of everyone around him. He was uncertain about his disciples, even though they followed him blindly. He was more uncertain, however, about God himself, and wanted more of a reason to sacrifice himself in such a way.
Jesus can't be blamed for feeling alone and untrusting about his people's faith in him. It was for his miracles that anyone started listened to him. Jesus felt that people should believe for his word, not his actions.

Questions:
1(Factual): What was Jesus' religion?
2(Discussion): Would you have believed Jesus's preaching without seeing any miracles?
