Midterm post 2: Star wars-Jedi

The Jedi's are a group of different people and species that study the good side of the force. There goals are to protect and keep peace throughout the galaxy. There arch enemy is the sith group. They battle the sith using there knowledge of the force and their lightsabers. Lightsabers were swords that the blade was made of pure energy.

The jedi's took a different approach than the sith in their philosophy on the force. The sith believed that the force was the key to obtaining power, while the jedi believed that the force was power. Therefor there was nothing more to obtain. So, if you believe in the force with resides in all aspects of exsistance then you will succeed. However, if you do not believe you will fail.

Jedi's taught values in patience, and peace. They believed that anger leads to the dark side and must be cleared from your mind. This is exactly how darth vader came about. Born as Anakin Skywalker, he and his mom were slaves. His whole life he had anger, and when his mom was murdered he had anger that filled his heart. This eventually lead him to the dark side and to become darth vader.
