So I missed last class, so i don't really know what y'all talked about. so I'm just going to start a new topic. Let's do like a pre cursor to our presentation.... do zombies have a soul???? SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!!!!
Hello! Hmmm, I'm gonna go with no, zombies do not have a soul. If they did as humans and where it went once they became a zombie, I am unsure. Do humans have a soul? I think that yeah, we do.
I would think zombies dont have the mental compass to even have thoughts. SO Im guessing the soul would die with the body. The soul being the part of the human thats not seen that supposedly is our essence our bein. I think that the soul idea could be used in the content that the soul of the zombie is to be a canabal, and nothing more. And my answer to humans having a soul is based on a quote i once heard,"To be absent from the body, the soul is present with the master." I take this to the meaning that the soul is connected to the body until god takes you to rest, and your soul is not dead but with him in rest.
I posted this question because it was the was an issue in one of the episodes of the Walking Dead. A character named Hershel kept his Zombie wife alive in his barn because he thought that she still had her soul, and that she would get better. I personally think that yes humans have souls. It's what makes us who we are, it is what gives us those glimpses of spirituality. But i think that once we as humans die, that our souls move on. Zombies are humans that have died, but they still roam around. They don't have any part of themselves left because their soul has moved on.
I thought they didn't even have consciousness, let alone "soul."
