"One day Elisha ben Abuyah saw a man send his young son up into the branches of a tree to perform a mitzvah: before one gathers eggs from the nest, one should shoo away the mother bird. The performance of this particular mitzvah, according to the Bible, brings long life." The child did the mitzvah, then fell from the tree and died. Elisha called out: "There is no justice, and there is no judge." After that he was excommunicated. "

-Do you think that was fair of him to draw that conclusion from the boy falling out of the tree? was it fait?

-Who said "There is no justice, and there is no judge."?
a: Elisha

-What does the Talmud describe?
a: The event that precipitated his excommunication
