The Group of All Girls Sec-1

Today we talked about Socrates. He had a wife (Xanthippe) and kids. Neat. We've decided that Socrates was honorable in defending his beliefs, but selfish for abandoning his family.
Divertingly, we discussed philosophers in general and their eternal quest to find the truth.
In your opinion, do philosophers think that their perception of the truth is the truth?
Do you believe that Socrates's choice to die for his views was noble?

Factually,

What poisonous drink killed Socrates?

  2. I believe that they do believe that their truth is the only truth. Since I believe that, I also believe that philosophers have trouble actually conversing with people without forcing their own opinions and being unbiased.
